Since its opening night on May 7, 1998, the Gunpo Culture & Arts Center has been meeting the needs and high standard of citizens by offering courses in cultural studies and inviting a wide range of performances, including musicals, plays, classical music, traditional Korean music, and concerts. Thanks to the support and interest from the community, the center has established itself as one of the premier cultural and artistic hubs in the metropolitan area.

The centerpiece of the Gunpo Culture & Arts Center is the four-story building with two basement levels that comprises over 268,301 square feet (24,926 ㎡)on4.2acres(16,968㎡).Some of thema in FACILITIES In the building in clude the grand performance hall, the small performance hall, the international conference hall, the exhibition hall, a dance studio, and rehearsal rooms for the orchestra and ensemble.
